Zippidydodah

This ingenious pattern starts with adding a border on two sides of a large nine-patch then slashing it with your rotary cutter. And putting it back together to form this great design.

Friends Forever

They say you can never be too rich or too thin! Well I believe you can never have too many friends or too much fabric! I belong to 3 quilting groups here in North Iowa. All groups are unique in their own ways. Each group has one thing in common. We care about each other and we love to quilt! To have friends in each of these groups is indeed a blessing! I hope you enjoy making ‘Friends Forever’ for yourself or better yet for your Mom, Sister, and Cousin, Aunt or any of your friends who are important to you!

Stella

Stella was dreamed of by my Mom one night in 1995. When she woke that morning, she sketched her right away. She was soon created and became a lovely quilt.    Then when I started Jenny Penny Designs, I thought we need to bring her back sometime. And by chance while vending a quilt show we were talking about Stella and one of my favored customers named Mary, said she had Stella! Wow! Can you believe that! So with her loaning me Mom’s Stella I was able to recreate Stella in my own version! I hope you enjoy her as much as I do!                                                                           Always quilting something---Jenny Schlutz

Country Goose

Country Goose was created quite by accident. While cutting flying geese for another quilt, I had cut double the amount that I needed. For the life of me I don’t know how that happened. Well of course you know how a quilter cannot get rid of a thing… So the Country Goose started to come to life!  I had many 5 ½” squares cut from previous quilts over the years. I picked out my favorite squares from that stash for the center, added the Geese and the borders,

and here is Country Goose!
